Tuesday, November 18th

We all had a great time at the concert today.  They played music from Frozen, Toy Story 2, Fantasia, Lion King, Polar Express and Pirates of the Caribbean.  Congratulations to the 5th Graders for behaving so wonderfully!!

We had a great time at the Art Institute today.  We were able to see all the amazing works of art that we studied - except for American Gothic.  American Gothic is on loan to a museum in Ohio.  Tomorrow you will receive a free pass so your whole family can visit the Art Institute.  Your child should be able to give you a tour!!

Wednesday, November 12th

Reading - Read for your book  report!  Work on report!!
Social Studies - Work on explorer research.  By now you should be done with your research and should be working on your presentation. 

Remember:  Tomorrow is our field trip to the Art Institute.  Please wear your T-shirt and comfortable shoes.  Bring a sack lunch with a beverage!  I am so looking forward to seeing the wonderful works of art at the Art Institute!!
