HOMEWORK
*Many students have not turned in the beginning of the year forms. Please sign and return the Keller PRIDE sheet, the Getting to Know Your Child sheet, and the Handbook disclaimer sheet. Also - PTO sent out a sheet for Popcorn and the 2-hour participation. Please check this out!!
* Finish your final copy of your Bio Poem. Your poem should be neatly written (or typed) and decorated around the edges.

It was so nice to meet all the members of 5-3 today!! We had both PE and Music. We met as a whole 5th Grade class and discussed class rules, Keller PRIDE responsibilities, Field Trips, DARE, Band, Kindergarten Buddies and Helpers and dismissal.
Please make sure that your child knows if they are a bus rider, a car rider, or a walker. Some children did not know this information which made dismissal harder. If this changes, please call the office so they know of any change in plans.
HOMEWORK:
Parent Homework: Return the Keller PRIDE sheet and the Getting to Know Your Child sheet. Read the Parent Handbook and return the signed sheet. If you want popcorn, return this with the appropriate amount of money ($5 per student).
Student Homework: Finish your puzzle piece!!

Welcome to 5th Grade!
I hope you have had a wonderful summer filled with fun activities! I am looking forward to meeting all of the students in 5-3!!
Open House is on Tuesday, August 25th at 6:00 PM. The first full day of school is on Wednesday, August 26th. Remember to bring your lunch and your smile!☺
